PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The Project Quality Assurance (PQA) Specialist manages the quality planning, quality reviews, quality performance and quality records of contracts in cooperation with Project Management. Assures the delivery of all Quality deliverables at the project gates, according to the agreed acceptance criteria. Rejects and, if necessary, blocks any non-conforming product or document from being released and manages the Quality records for the project. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and maintain Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP) with strong involvement of project core team. PQMP main focus area: - Requirements management - Deliverables identification - Project planning - Safety evidences identified and listed • Monitor tasks defined by PQMP, especially risk, change and configuration management, processes compliance using Quality Review, identify non-compliance and define actions; • Strong projects support with non-conformities management related to products, documentation, processes, templates. RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) non-compliance are managed by the Project Engineer; • Project support during customer quality audits; • Process, tools improvements initiations and support; • Setting and monitoring project quality KPIs; • Participate in key project team meetings and peer reviews; • Monitoring Gate review process performed by PMO. Development of RCS Region North Quality Assurance culture and function: • Advocate a proactive Quality culture through acting as the quality change agent in different forums; • Bring Quality progress reports (e.g. Quality Dashboard) to management review meetings and feed the organization with analysis and improvement action suggestions; • Ensure that the correct and sufficient KPIs are in place to measure both the QMS effectiveness and the Quality in our deliveries; • Trigger and consolidate the overall progress for Region North improvements portfolio. Qualifications • Educated to a Degree level (Masters’ Degree or equivalent); • Knowledge of relevant business standards: ISO 9001 and IRIS; • Knowledge of Quality methods and tools (e.g. 8D, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma); • Proven Quality and Project Management experience, preferably in technical projects, in a similar industry (ideally, transportation industry); • Experience in bids would be valuable; • Demonstrates strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to guide, advise, influence, coach, motivate and convince others, and lead changes without having the formal leadership position; • Problem solving skills and analytical mindset; • English skills: advanced/business fluent level; • Driving license.
