We are currently looking to recruit a Project Planner for our location in Katowice. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The main focus for this position is to assist Project Managers, Technical Project Managers and Bid Managers with project/bid planning. The primary responsibility of the role includes establishing detailed project schedules, resource planning and capacity analysis, periodic performance monitoring, earned value analysis, producing schedule-related KPIs and also monthly data collection and reporting. YOUR TASKS • Support for projects, especially in the area of planning/scheduling of dates and resources in different planning tools • Scheduling (WBS, DPS etc.), follow-up of dates, costs and hours for the different projects • Preparation and analysis of basic plans and update of actual status • Support and handling of interfaces to planning tools and other systems • Prepare, structure and update of schedules (national and international) • Prepare of analysis, report and presentations (German and English) • Support Bid projects with schedules and analysis • Regular status report of all activities. Qualifications • Minimum relevant Bachelors in Engineering or Business or Economical degree • Good English skills both spoken and written. German language is an advantage. • Minimum 1 year relevant professional experience required • Experience in project planning and performance management techniques (scheduling, resource planning, critical path analysis, earned value tracking) • Working knowledge of Primavera, MS Office , MS Project, SAP (Project planning), Lotus Notes • Excellent communication skills • Good analytical and problem solving skills, results oriented • Ability to travel on a regular basis to Germany or customer site.
