On Ruby, rscpe Scripter position you will work with current Ruby code (included in many foreman templates as well as in puppet modules) and develop new code (mainly in rspec) to test build new infrastructure. Behind that you will learn about deployment and configuration management delivered in modern DevOps model. Who are we looking for? Ability to use a wide variety of tools Good understanding of broad range of IT technologies (os, databases, clustering, scripting, code management, ITSM tools) Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders (OS, Automation, Databases) Good analytical skills Opened to built knowledge about changing landscape of tools Experience in independent Ruby scripting Functional and object oriented programming Usage of modules Usage of APIs delivered by different vendors Knowledge of ITIL v3, with practical use of change and release management processes Analytycal skills driving good documentation and business analysis Adaptability; able to adapt to changing business requirements Self-motivated individual, able to work independently yet in coordination with a team Following skills would be advantage: Automatic testing with usage of rspec testing framework Experiance in other scripting language (perl, bash, python) Working knowledge of software development practices and technologies Working knowledge of software versioning systems (GIT, GitLab, GitHUB) Understanding of webservices from consumer perspective (REST API, SOAP, WSDL, SOA architecture) WebAPI usage YAML JSON Who will you be working with?
