We are currently looking to recruit an Audit & Compliance Specialist, who will be based in Katowice, Poland YOUR ROLE The Audit & Compliance Specialist is accountable for the governance of individual compliance framework related topics, following leading practice principles. He/she shows a deep knowledge on several audit and compliance domains, broad knowledge of information security in general, and works independently on a tactical scale, as well as providing valuable input to strategic decisions of the Risk & Compliance function. Your Tasks Support internal and external audits to execute IT control testing to meet compliance requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, the following activities: - Act as a liaison between IT and our external and internal auditors. - Document execution of IT control testing and findings. - Consult with control owners, such as system administrators, database administrators, application owners and others on developing action plans to remediate findings identified during the review cycle. - Communicate potential control gaps and findings to management. - Maintain and monitor progress of remediation steps on identified control deficiencies. - Work with and support Business Unit Services, Enterprise Services, Project Management office and local BIS representatives across all our geographic areas (North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia). - Vendor risk and Third-party risk management Responsible for ensuring IT Control Framework is validated by control owners and identify any risks. Manage compliance to the BIS Compliance Framework and audit processes to identify any risks. Maintain and update the BIS Compliance Framework and audit processes to address legal, contractual and internal audit requirements originating from e.g. OSC, 52-109, ITAR and Data Protection.
